New Curriculum

At Windsor Clive we are currently implementing a brand new Curriculum for Wales. The New Curriculum is designed to enthuse learners aged 3 to 16 and give them the foundations they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. Schools have been given the freedom to develop their own curriculum to best suit the needs of their learners. The curriculum is based on Four Purposes and is divided into 6 Areas of Learning and Experiences. The Four Purposes:

The new Curriculum for Wales has been developed to fulfil four key purposes. It aims to produce children who are:

• Ambitious, capable learners
• Healthy, confident individuals
• Enterprising, creative contributors
• Ethical, informed citizens

The 6 Areas of Learning and Experiences
